Benjamin Shibe Macfarland III
Before starting BMC, Mr. Macfarland handled leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions in South Florida for a privately held company where he helped build the company from roughly 2 million to 3 million square feet across the SE United States. Mr. Macfarland honed his analytical skills after college by working as a commercial real estate appraiser. He received a Business Degree from Florida State University majoring in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. While attending FSU, he founded the first valet parking company in the college city /state capitol, Tallahassee, FL. The company continues to thrive today. This business helped build the foundation for relationships with State Legislature and lobbyists across the State of Florida.
In addition to being active in the business community, Mr. Macfarland believes in giving back. He currently sits on the Alumni Board of Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, FL and chairs the annual opening season gala benefiting the Anne Norton Sculpture Gardens in downtown West Palm Beach. Furthermore he sits on committees including, but not limited to, the Flagler Museum and the Ryan Sang Bipolar Foundation. Additionally, he contributes and volunteers his time to the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties which provides low-income housing, scholarships, and environmental grants across South Florida. Mr. Macfarland is a native and 4th generation resident of Palm Beach, FL.
